This vintage of Bacchus has been entirely made and bottled on-site in our very own winery.
Returning to the 2016's style, this is a crisp, fresh wine with aromas of fresh green apple, goosberry and elderflower. The generous palate balances crisp acidity with ripe green fruits.
Drink as a chilled aperitif, or paired with fresh, green dishes.

"Almost water-white with a lime-coloured tinge, citrus and passionfruit with lemon blossom accent on the nose, bracing acidity in balance with the ripe mixed fruits on the palate, grassy note, nice depth and length. Good example of Bacchus from a ripe year.
Our winemaking ethos
As of 2018, all of our wines are made right here on site by our family (with the help of consultant Simon Day). The grapes travel approximately 250m from the vineyard to the winery.
Our winemaking ethos is to produces characterful wines that represent the grape variety, the vintage, and our boutique size. We aim to make as few interventions as possible - never deacidifying, fining, and only filtering when needed. We also aim to reduce our sulphur usage as much as possible (0.5 molecular sulphur whenever possible).
