Kerner 2018 is one of the first wines that has been entirely grown, made and bottled on-site in our very own winery.

"Kerner" is the every-day version of our famed "Old Vine Kerner". Crisp, refreshing and citrusy, this youthful expression of the synonymous grape variety is the ideal aperitif wine or accompaniment to white meats and caesar salads.

For those who enjoy:

  • Gruner Veltliner/Chablis
  • Something different

Served at:

Land Restaurant (Birmingham)

Our winemaking ethos

As of 2018, all of our wines are made right here on site by our family (with the help of consultant Simon Day). The grapes travel approximately 250m from the vineyard to the winery.

Our winemaking ethos is to produces characterful wines that represent the grape variety, the vintage, and our boutique size. We aim to make as few interventions as possible - never deacidifying, fining, and only filtering when needed. We also aim to reduce our sulphur usage as much as possible.
