Limited Edition - Only 168 bottles produced!

Sauvignon Blanc is our smallest, but still significant planting at Astley Vineyard. In 2018 we harvested 720kg (October 10th). Sauvignon usually plays a supporting role in our Severn Vale & Bacchus, but in 2018 the grapes were so good that we decided to give it its own release.

Beautifully aromatic, intense and well balanced, this crisp herbaceous wine shows aromas of fresh green pea, grass, green apple and mint. Enjoy as an aperitif or with fresh salads. Who knows when we'll be able to make this again!

For those who enjoy:

  • Sauvignon Blanc
  • Fresh green flavours
  • Acidic wine

Our winemaking ethos

As of 2018, all of our wines are made right here on site by our family (with the help of consultant Simon Day). The grapes travel approximately 250m from the vineyard to the winery.

Our winemaking ethos is to produces characterful wines that represent the grape variety, the vintage, and our boutique size. We aim to make as few interventions as possible - never deacidifying, fining, and only filtering when needed. We also aim to reduce our sulphur usage as much as possible.
